I am a professor in the psychology department at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. I have been conducting research and writing about the psychology of spatial perception for the last 25 years. The main idea of the book is to write to a general audience about the importance of understanding how our spatial minds and brains influence our behaviour, our movements, our preferences, and our attitudes towards buildings, cities, and natural settings.
