No matter how old (or young) you are, wayfinding can be a challenge, especially when you have other things on your mind. Here's a transcript to illustrate:
My 3 year old son, we'll call him Boy Wonder (as he climbs aboard his trike): Bye mom! I'm going to the grocery store
Mom: What are you going to buy?
BW: Broccoli and jelly beans! (BW does a few laps of the driveway and then returns with a worried frown.)
BW: Darn!
Mom: What's wrong?
BW: I forgot the broccoli.
